[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-a-2U6UlUQ[/hd] Those of you with an interest in medieval stuff most likely have watched Skallagrim's or Thrand's videos some time in the past.
The YouTube Channel Thegn Thrand conducts test of medieval weapons and armor for educational and entertainment purposes and has recently been unjustly terminated by YouTube with no warning or communication. The termination was triggered by two older videos on his channel that were deemed to promote unsafe practices. In truth, the videos in question explore the historical reality of certain combative practices, specifically ninja fire techniques and 13th century firepots. Even with this historical and educational validation for the videos in question, the channel's host (Thrand) would have happily removed the videos to avoid the termination of his YouTube channel. All YouTube needed to do was contact him about the matter. Instead his channel was terminated with no forewarning. Thrand's content is fun, educational and in no way deserves to be terminated. We hope this partition will see ThegnThrand's Youtube channel reinstated and create further protection and consideration within YouTube for the other medieval weapon and armor channels.
The Youtube McCarthy era has begun.
Rip Youtube, now it will go out with a whimper.
Better make more spiderman vs elsa videos instead
Youtube terms of service are bullshit. The man who brought us many a Serbian memes' channel was shut down in a similar way. I'm talking about this guy

Creator is saying he can't reupload everything since I think he lost a bunch of it. Kind of sad.

Working as a youtuber as your main job sounds like absolute hell. You are basically working for a faceless entity you have minimal chance of talking to, and you have none of the rights that a normal job gives you so you can wake up the next morning and suddenly lose 90% of your income stream without any warning.
That's pretty fucked to outright terminate. Sounds like Youtube is in full retard mode nowadays. In the wake of the Vegas shooting, they've been removing videos about legal bump fire stocks and hitting the account owner's with strikes.
Better make more spiderman vs elsa videos instead
I don't think youtube even wants most people to make videos any more. They just want their trusted corporate partners to make videos and the rest of the population to like them and share them.

Yeah but good thing all those wholesome "prank" videos where people beat their kids or set themselves on fire, run into traffic, pee on a stranger, preaching outright intolerance, idk whatever other stupid/dangerous shit people do are still up and making that sweet ad money though. Really making a good community by banning all these sick freako history channels and average content creators, keep that dangerous filth away from the children and all that.
Thrand's channel got reinstated. Also the Streisand effect in force, his subscribers jumped from 33k to 37k after reinstation.
