Since no-one seems to be wanting to post this: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/1385-Torchlight
Also I sure do hope nobody already posted this without "Zero Punctuation: Torchlight" (or any combination of those words) in the thread title.
Let's see..
SO i should get it?
SO i should get it?
Should of gotten it while it was on sale :smug:
And how are the controls complex? Left click->Primary attack; Right click->Secondary attack; 1-6->Skills 1-6

Definitely.
Not quite sure if he liked it or not
Not quite sure if he liked it or not
I'd say that compared to the majority of other games he has reviewed, he went pretty light on this one, so I guess he didn't hate it at least.
SO i should get it?
yes. For the price, its worth more than even an ice cream sandwich, especially if you enjoyed games like Diablo. Steam says I've gotten about 23.8 hours of gameplay in the last two weeks.

He liked it as much as an ice cream sandwich at the bottom of a grit pile.
So in Zero Punctuation standards, GOTY
Its a pretty good game.. Don't know whether I would have paid £15 for it mind.
Yahtzee seems to dislike most games he's bad at.
Kind of rough standards if you suck at most games.
Good thing about this game is that it has an editor and tons of mods

He hates all games
Except portal.
That guy loves portal.

And Saints Row 2. He loves that too.
He makes it sound like it's the worst game produced in human history, but then again he does that with all other games...
So i guess he didn't like it. Well you have to be into that sort of game to like others of its genre. If it ever goes back on sale I'll buy it.
And Saints Row 2. He loves that too.
And Painkiller.
and bioshock
Not quite sure if he liked it or not
I don't think he's ever liked a game.
He simply didn't hate this one quite as much as others.
I love how Yahtzee didn't actually do any research into the games developers because then he would realise that the people who designed this game also designed Diablo II, then left blizzard and went on to form another company. I do occasionally laugh at some of his remarks, but torchlight was made by an underdog developer and i stand up for the underdog.
is this yahtzee's first top down action rpg or some shit, he's complaining about clicking, like you don't do that in every other game
and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
Diablo II is better than Torchlight. If for no other reason, it's the fact that D2 has multiplayer. Also a good inventory system.
Oh, and I like the way you used spells in D2. After a while of playing, I had everything bound to its own key, and I could switch between and fire my spells within a second's notice.

Psychonauts, and Silent Hill 2 for Playstation 2.
I actually like to click a lot it's kind of exciting.
Demon's souls review: THIS GAME IS HARD IN A BAD WAY
Torchlight review: THIS GAME IS EASY IN A BAD WAY
Make up your mind already man

It is not the game overall, it is just the difficulty choice is not leveled correctly.
Stopped watching when he was saying you had to click every time you wanted to hit an enemy. Apparently he doesn't know you can hold down the mouse button.
CLEARLY FUCKING SUPERIOR, RIGHT?!
Sure is!
He's reviewing indie games now?
He complained about having to click things?
On a PC?
Really?
