[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lPytfSy-04[/hd] The first time I purchased GTA 3, the 32 MB of RAM my PC had simply wasn't enough, the game was playing at something like 3 fps. After bawling my eyes out my family finally agreed to up my ram to 128 MB. I finally got to experience GTA 3. The best experience I've had from GTA 3 has been "chatterbox" courtesy of lazlow (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazlow_Jones). Its been about 15 years since the release of GTA 3 and in particular the "chatterbox" radio channel still remains relevant. It is really worth a listen in its entirety. FWIW, I still say to my friends on Mumble on almost a daily basis "Yesterday, I made a dollar!" and they still have no idea where it is from, in fact most people have no idea where it is from. But for me, I used to spend hours playing the game with sound effects muted and the radio volume increased, just to hear "chatterbox" in its entirety. The funniest thing about GTA 3: Chatterbox is how relevant it still is 15 years later. Here is a transcript of Chatterbox in its entirety: https://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/548931-grand-theft-auto-iii/faqs/16584
Ares Running Shoes (commercial) Man: "A good shoe starts from the ground up. At Ares, we make high- quality footwear. In fact, you can find Ares running shoes in over 140 countries around the world. In the past, there's been some criticism about our workers! That's why I'm here at one of the Ares factories so you can meet some of them...excuse me sir, do you enjoy your job here?" Kid: "It's fun...we get to play with knives!" Man: "Heh, I see...is there a real sense of teamwork?" Kid: "My friend Joey sewed his hands together!" Man: "Wow, you're learning some real skills. How about the salary, and benefits?" Kid: "Yesterday...I made a dollar!" Man: "You see, that's the kind of dedication we have to our employees, and the quality of our shoes. Ares running shoes...always running......from something!"
Man, did I love Fernando's New Beginnings.

RISE FM for my MDMA needs This was my first GTA, and my second favourite aswell. I loved the cities, and the 2000's feel the game had to it.
the many GTA talk stations played a huge part in shaping my sense of humor to this very day
Man, the 3d universe absolute had the best radio stations in the entire franchise. Good music, good hosts and hilarious commercials.
best radio station coming through
This song is the song I think of when I think of GTA III. I remember staying up on the day I got it, even though I had school the next day, cuz I was so excited. Couldn't wait to get home and play more of it.
On the topic of GTA radio stations, let's turn our attention to how I feel that Vice City Stories is, quite frankly, underrated in that regard. Despite having not played the game in what must be 3-4 years now, the VCPR station quickly became one of my favorites for the whole series during my last playthrough. Seriously, just listen to the first radio program on here
Lips 106 and Head Radio are what I jammed to the most. Listening to them now and the nostalgia is hitting like a wave.
Listening to Chatterbox brings a smile to my face, but simultaneously makes me a bit disappointed looking at the state of talk shows in the later games, and Lazlow in particular. The early games really did have such great talk stations, with Vice City's K-chat and VCPR probably being among the best of talk-shows in the series. WCTR in San Andreas was also pretty entertaining, however, once IV hit it felt like the more political-satire direction of the talk shows just lacked the magic of the other talk shows. As for Lazlow, when he first debuted in Chatterbox, he seemed like the one sane-man in this wacky and crazy world of Grand Theft Auto. But as he appeared in subsequent games, he just became more and more of a sex-hungry creep that pretty much revolved exclusively around self-degradation, and how pathetic he is. I enjoyed his character far more before that became his only trick.

Chatterbox was like my favorite radio station in GTA 3.
God bless that scumbag Lazlow for being the spokesman for my first ever PC game. I think i remember 90% of the whole Chatterbox script
