This video follows the struggle of gay rights in the Midwestern city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The documentary follows LGBT and Straight Allies through the 1950's to current with over 60 separate interviews ranging from church clergy and former mayors with both local and worldwide issues. Topics include Basic History (Starting in the 1950's) (0:00:00) AIDS and the Gay Community (0:28:40) The Religious Right & Homophobia (0:41:55) Community Support (1:01:10) (Kinda boring in this section)
Where's the T?
Transgender
Transgender
Oh I know what it means, what I'm saying is is that most people who throw LGBT around really only focus on LGB. [editline]22nd June 2012[/editline] The first 28 minutes mention Transgender maybe once or twice.
Sorry read that as "What". It's just habbit to include the T in LGBT for me so.
