A behind the scenes look on how Ed, Edd n Eddy was created and what processes occur in the making of a regular episode. The documentary includes: storyboards for Season 5 and onward, interviews with the production staff, the voice actors and the team behind the Mis-Edventures video game.
14:30 to 20:20 - The voice actors for the Eds discussing their roles & recording for the Mis-Edventures video game.
22:28 to 29:41 - The voice actors for the Kanker sisters & the neighbourhood kids discussing their roles & performing for the video game.
Holy crap their voice actors are actual real life versions of them.
Holy crap I was just thinking of posting this two days ago.
Cool.
I love Ed's actor. He fits his role.
I kept seeing this recommended to me. I thought it was because of all of the ed edd and eddy earrape in lmao pics
This was absolutely my favorite show growing up. And still my favorite cartoon. I was a Cartoon Network kid. I literally hated Disney, and I think like one or two shows on Nickolodeon I liked. But Cartoon Network played on my tv 24/7.
God, edd ed n eddy was such an amazing show. Thanks for posting this.
So have they ever revealed Double D without his hat?
I remember a very long time ago you had to win the Cartoon Network's Food Fight flashgame as Double D to get a shot of him throwing his hat up in the air, but I think I read somewhere that it was not canon
Thanks for posting this, I absolutely adore Ed, Edd & Eddy
There's plenty of full episodes on Youtube too - which makes it all better

Danny says in the video that he's not telling.
At the very least we know he can pull a hairpin out of there, so he probably has hair, but then again, he stores a toolbox there too.
My crazy theory is that he really just likes his image a lot and doesn't actually hide any horrible secrets underneath. Kinda like Johnny Bravo and his sunglasses.

I just wish they did a complete collection DVD/Blu-Ray. I'd love to see the deleted scenes.
Until recently I didn't know the "kanker sisters" were called "kanker sisters" in the English version of the show. Kanker is the Dutch word for cancer and is actually used as a swearword by (mostly young) Dutch people.
Obviously in the Dutch version of the show their names are different ("Drammer")
I had no clue the VA for May had to curl her lip back to do the voice. It seems like all of them flick a switch and just pull the voice out of themselves. Is there some method to finding other voices that VAs learn?

the episode where they build a city out of boxes is still etched into my mind, and ed with his ridiculous shapeshifting

Simply one of those timeless shows that should be left in peace especially given CN's recent track record of giving unnecessary, just plain bad reboots to their previous shows.
Also loved The Mis-Edventures game as a kid but I wasn't interested in the behind the scenes extras until now. Can you believe that this was just 11 years ago?

They should bring it back as re-runs rather than a reboot. So far all reboots have been complete garbage.
The storyboards for this show have so much detail and care put into them.

Ed Edd n Eddy was the best damn show.
I hope CN never brings Ed, Edd and Eddy back as a "reboot".
I was lucky to have american tv in canada as a kid. This show was a blast.
This show was great.
Weird that I watched this last night and then someone posted it :v: Lots of good VA discussion in here, I love it.
My favorite show when I was a kid, really interesting to see this!
When we got cable on our street and I could finally watch CN, this show was probably one of the first ones I saw, if not the first.
Ever since then, it stuck with me forever. Loads of shows nowadays can't even begin to climb up this show's legs.
absolutely fucking amazing cartoon
among the very best there have ever been
Easily my favorite Cartoon Network show when I was growing up. Everything about it is so exaggerated and colorful that you can't help but stay hooked.
I just realized the show is now 17 years old and I feel really fucking old now.
One of my favorite things about the show was how self contained it was. The show only ever had the 13 characters that they introduce in the first episode, with Eddy's brother being the only exception at the end of the movie (as well as showing some of the adults' arms in the last season). It didn't try to force celebrity cameos or have phoned in references. The only time it tried something really different was the setting change to mostly take place in school, which imo, was the weakest season.
The fact it lasted for about 10 years without a major drop in quality as well as having a satisfying finale shows how much love and craft was put into it.
