Is CoH2 worth getting? I heard a lot of people say it was shit. I liked CoH 1 just don't know whether 2 is worthwhile.

It's pretty much CoH1.1 kind of pathetic how little they developed.
COH2 wasn't great, but I want this bad.
I enjoyed CoH 2 in a free weekend before, it's definitely not great but it was fun to play.
Don't think it deserves all the hate.
Me and my fag friends play COH2 all the time.
We are upset cause this update adds nothing cause we play with bots or multiplayer.
TBH you need friends to play this game and have fun doing crazy shit, like my friend went all flamethrower trucks the entire game or when he put a bunch of pak guns everywhere to block the enemy.
Its on sale for $10 usd right now. A balance patch is due this tuesday
For the right side of £20 you get more than enough content in CoH2 and it is still very fun to play as far as I'm concerned, and the single player does have it's moments.
This looks great but not at the price they are asking.

IMO it's a great game, it's not as excellent as the first CoH but it's absolutely not a bad game because of that.
I'd recommend trying it out before making any decisions about getting it or not, it's going to be free temporarily this weekend.
If only the Skirmish AI weren't fucking cheating bastards. I don't know how they made it worse than CoH 1 but the fuckin managed it.
COH2 is gonna be on the big free weekend this weekend, so you can try it then I suppose.
I personally like it, and it's pretty balanced right now (initially it was fucking horrible, one side would dominate the other after every patch).

I played the beta for it back when that was out and felt it was a bit unbalanced i.e T-34's getting mauled by panzer 4's with ease, I don't know if they've fixed the balance issues yet though.
I read in a preview that this campaign is going to be long, and feature permanent death for units if you really fuck up. I think it's going to be quite small scale, but open ended, where you focus on getting your company through it all alive. You can apparently also capture gear and get upgrades that last as long as the units last, and they will change accordingly.

It is. It, to me, is better than CoH1. The good parts have just been overshadowed by butthurt Russians (granted, the EF campaign is very silly) and people complaining about P2W dlc when really they don't give you any advantage over what's already in the game.

The game has improved [B]massively[/B] since the beta.
