Hey everyone, I made this Skyrim review close to 2 months ago but in the last 2 days it picked up 2000 views and 70 likes. Weird :-S. Anyway I know there are thousands of Skyrim reviews out there but I'd sure dig some feedback from you guys on whether its a good review. I know it omits crafting, werewolves, and a couple of other things but I felt they were better for people to explore on their own. that was good but your intro is anoying
unnecessary intro. the review itself is okay.
Your voice is like an australian version of the gamerspawn voice. Dude holy shit.
I felt like I was watching it for way longer than I really was, but that's usually what happens when I watch game reviews. Other than that, it was good.
Why are the game sounds so fucked up at the start
Why are the game sounds so fucked up at the start
That was a Youtube problem, the fuckheads.
not bad
not bad
I agree for a first review :D
Do you think a simpler intro or what suggestions do you guys have?
Did you use both PC and Xbox gameplay videos?
Did you use both PC and Xbox gameplay videos?
That was Xbox 360 footage but we all played the PC version and the console versions had the freezing and some rough glitches compared to PC. But it still looks great overall for a console port I thought.
Because I noticed some screen tearing right after the intro and later saw it was the xbox version
My bad. I meant console version. I mentioned about clipping and pop in issues towards the end of the review but it is definitely noticeable I must say.
I would personally choose to cut the intro and introduce yourself. It's a lot more informal.

Good review!
It was an alright review, but you pretty much just sucked Skyrim's dick. For each good point you make, make a good one and then, at the end of the video, have a conclusion. Your review just seemed to be you bigging up Skyrim for the first two thirds and then you were slightly critical, then went back to saying how amazing it is. The point of a review is to review both the good and bad aspects of the thing in question to give someone an unbiased view of it. It's up to the viewer to make the judgement, not the reviewer.
It's not up to the reviewer to judge a game in their own review? Do you know what a review is?
I agree. What is the point of reviewing if you're not expressing an individual/group opinion. Kind of defeats its own purpose :-S
Okay, I worded that rather badly. What I mean is you should approach the game with both a positive and negative attitude. For every good point, have a good point. It's not hard to find flaws in Skyrim amongst all the awesome.
It's not hard to find flaws in Skyrim amongst all the awesome.
That poorly animated "Werewolf blood" scene... Y'know that one where they cut its wrists and it *realistically* drains away? Why the hell couldn't they animate that properly?
A few critiques The audio is awful at some points. Game audio is atrocious and annoying. The little "beeps" in the ending were annoying as well. The intro and the animations for switching between sections for the video were annoying. Organize the sections better. E.g instead of "How it feels" call it "Gameplay" and "How it looks " to "Graphics" Speak a bit louder. Otherwise it's not bad.
