I stopped watching at 2 mins. This guy already doesn't like the game beforehand, so how are we supposed to take him seriously?

"The New Order was shit" that's as far as I needed to go.
Wow. I also stopped at two minutes.
New Order was "handholdy"? What. What is this guy on about. Also if you don't get the story of a fucking Wolfenstein game you should just quit reviewing forever
Personally I can't stand this guy. He hates everything because it's "not like the old days" or some shit like that.
i used to like this guy jesus he hates everything remotely popular lol i think the only game ive seen him give a thumbs up is that 7 days to die fucking indie survival game

Yeah after his "Trend" of hating games for no reason that have quality or some sort of thing that makes them popular (But not like cod or whatever else that's most dislike) I stopped watching his videos and unsubbed, seriously I think he's getting it for the views now
in most of his fps videos he doesn't even try to be objective and tends to go on long rose tinted glasses rants about how 'back in my day games were actually good'. like i said in the bfh review thread its obvious on how much he can be trusted as a reviewer when he said at the end of the video that 'anyone who buys this game is an idiot who doesnt know any better' i played all the classics as they came out and im a pretty good fps player, and the newest wolfenstein on max difficulty definitely wasnt the cakewalk he says it is, so either he's some kind of fps god (doubtful from footage) or hes not playing on hardest and is just trying to big himself up as OG
Jesus all those fucking bleeps. Man up and don't censor your videos, or just don't swear so much, god damn.
He's simply giving his own unbiased opinion and he doesn't sugarcoat anything, which I appreciate. He also states in the end that even though he doesn't like it, it's still excellent value for money. I do agree with him how the modern shooters are more hand-holdy, because back in the day there were no hints on your HUD to guide you, there was more sense of exploration and discovery involved.

While I agree games are handholdy today, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a good reason to have a game be truly "Fuck you figure it out" in todays market. There are obvious exceptions, but the majority of games want to not alienate players. I don't find that to be such a bad thing. It resulted in TNO and TOB, which are both excellent games that have very little handholding compared to what people are used to today. You can basically turn it all off. There's plenty of exploration and discovery involved and I think people who dismiss that, didn't really play either game, and didn't really EXPLORE in either game, as both have shit tons of secret areas, hidden shit, and actually really relate back to the days of old with large maze like laid out levels. But I guess I'm just fucking sick of hearing people say old level design was better. Not really. It aimed for an entirely different thing, and if you don't love that thing, how the fuck is it better?
