Class III weapons and permits
legal in most states
You need to
A) find a privately owned full-auto made and registered BEFORE May 19, 1986
B) If the owner agrees to transfer it, you need to go to the ATF and apply for a class III permit
C) If you get the permit, you can buy it. One class III permit is good for one class III gun, so if you want more, it's all going to repeat
Oh, and to get a class III permit, you need to pretty much have no convictions beyond moving violations (i.e. parking or speeding tickets)
If you have been convicted of a felony at any point in your life, you are automatically disqualified from having a class III permit or class III firearm
