I'm gonna copy/paste a post I made about channels like these I made a while ago because it's still relevant:
You know what's weird speaking of shit like this, a friend of mine who made character models for an SFM series of mine has a channel like this that got really big really fast because Pewdiepie made a video that was basically "holy shit what is this". I asked him about why he's doing stuff like that and he says:
actually there is alot of creepy kids channel like this in youtube...and most of them get ridiculously alot of views...because kids like them and watch them all days.... i hate them at first... but then i think why dont i just try to make the same stuff....i might get some extra cash every month...i have the talent to do this... and then "cyborg princess vanilla" is born... and i never thought pewdiepie will make a reaction to my channel...since it just started like a month ago...im quite suprized by that...

i do have plan to turn the channel into an actual legit and quality kids channel in one day..... but seem for now people want to see more weird stuff...
I never thought it could work but turns out it did and good on him. His character models are really good, too.
I'm curious about how much money he makes

Your friends on point, if he's getting some solid views anyway.
[sp]Shit I should start up one.[/sp]
I'm curious about how much money he makes

its not much.. its about 80-100 dollar per month. but it so hard to get on that level..
I make more a month delivering pizza, but then again that's any job. Making enough money to live comfortably on youtube is like trying to catch lightning in a jar.
Why have morals against fucking up children when you can get all their views instead!
Has there ever been a period in history where children were able to seek out and consume such extreme/weird content? I'm not usually a "think of the children" types, but it is genuinely a bit disturbing to think of kids watching this nonsense. My parents and lots of my friends weren't allowed to watch Ed, Edd & Eddy because apparently that was too mind-numbing.. I can't imagine what these kids are like watching this.
All I know is that I have so much more respect for children's entertainers now
make fun of Teletubbies and make pedophilia jokes about Mister Rogers all you want (except that last part don't do that) at least they didn't stoop to the lowest common denominator and make g-rated scat porn every episode
My son tries watching shit like this on YouTube. There's a lot of really disturbing stuff out there masquerading as kid's content, obviously parents need to monitor what their kids are looking at. I saw this weird cartoon crossover short where Venom from Spiderman comes to Peppa Pig's house in the middle of the night, grows blades out of his arms like Baraka from Mortal Kombat, stabs Peppa Pig and her family members while they're sleeping, and then leaves.

Nearly 2 million views.

One of my coworkers was talking about this exact same video appearing in a playlist when they were letting their kid watch Peppa Pig videos on youtube.

Yeah dude, it's friggin ridiculous. After I saw my son come across that one (same thing, watching Peppa Pig episodes) I went through the "suggested views" list on the right side. There's videos where people dub over Spongebob episodes saying all sorts of depraved shit, live action mustached Elsa giving birth to Spider-Man babies that she literally shoots out of his/her vagina across the room and down flights of stairs, Peppa Pig and friends dying from asphyxiation after being stung by bees, it's insane, and almost all of them have millions of views.

I want to think this is all a master ruse done by a network like Adult Swim, why are those so fuckin bizarre and weird jesus christ
I find the modded GTA IV/V nursery rhyme channels one of the weirdest and unintentionally hilarious ones. I mean you have Spider-Man driving a dozen of police cars onto a transport truck. Or Lightning McQueen being poured with gasoline and set on fire by the Joker while Spider-Man in police gear equipped with an AK-47 shoots up the Joker. All while generic nursery songs play in the background, with a proud stamp that they're all VIDEOS FOR KIDS

This one has over 8.5 million views. All of it is Spider-Man in police gear driving out various re-colored police vehicles, while making fart noises and the cars leaving over 2D poop edited in onto the video.

seriously lol
I'm really surprised Disney hasn't cracked down on this stuff, it's blatant use of their properties and I wouldn't want to be linked to it.
I'm afraid to actually click any of these videos for fear that my recommendeds will be instantly flooded with more
I miss their older reaction videos, H3H3 just isn't the same anymore.

You can delete your Youtube search history afterwards. If deleting the individual videos from it doesn't work, just nuke the entire history.
what's also strange is that the comments sections on all of them are absolute nonsense. i mean, just look at the comments on the pooping cars video posted above

I think this kind of stuff has been around a fairly long time.
When I was in middle school I was first drawn to Newgrounds by the whole "assassin" collection of flash games they had, which basically consisted of "kill this celebrity/pop culture character." And I loved shit like Retarded Animal Babies.
Kids like stupid stuff. But this shit, I have no idea. It seems like that same weird uncanny valley bootleg finger family phenomenon, where I just have no idea who on earth is watching all these things and giving people ad money for it.
theres only two good toy channels (ones inactive though) illusion dude and mike mozart

I'm really happy Tim is still active. Can't believe it's almost a decade now and he's still one of the best grandpas on YouTube.

Holy shit Mike Mozart thats a name I haven't heard for a long while.

It's a shame that a lot of the street art he was doing was stolen from an artist he was collaborating with

These videos exist in the same universe where people kill and die wantonly and unspeakable horrors are committed daily. At this point, absurdism might be the only truth.
what's also strange is that the comments sections on all of them are absolute nonsense. i mean, just look at the comments on the pooping cars video posted above
Out of reluctance to give any of these things views, what kind of comments are left? Random keyboard face rolling or bot-level word salad?
Semi unrelated but every time i see those videos show up on my suggestion list, My stomach wants to hurl. Like what future benefit do you gain from this aside from the buck ton of money you get out of these "watchable" videos.. I don't normally say this but i worry for any kids who might come apon those videos.
I mean having a little bit of weirdness in your life is fine and all but this is too much for anyone to bare or so i hope.

Maybe I'm just being "back in my day"-esque, but I feel like this is worse than Newgrounds.
Maybe I'm just being "back in my day"-esque, but I feel like this is worse than Newgrounds.
I think expectations are different. Today we get fantastic content, even if shit is 100x more frequent. Back in the day on Newgrounds, around 2004, even getting OK content was considered a big thing.
Holy shit I forgot all about Mike Mozart.
In reference to this, why have I never heard of it before? Is it really just weird shit lurking in kids channels?
I remember getting yelled at for watching the Angry Video Game Nerd on YouTube way back in the day. This shit is on a whole other level Christ.
