He needs to shave that piece of shit above his lip
In New Zealand we beep our horns in tunnels. Nothing like this though...
"The Swede performs the mating call in the late hours of the night, to try to attract a mate. The process will start only once a brave soul decides to begin the strange, yet hauntingly beautiful symphony of voices."
-BBC Documentary, Sweden: A World Apart
Late but great. Seems like a cool thing to experience.
it's like purgatory
It's a student thing to relieve stress or something. I'm sure there must be some swedish guy here.
He needs to shave that piece of shit above his lip
a++ judgemental as fuck post well done
what
Is this a real thing in Sweden though? I've never lived in a semi-urban environment like this one, and if I do this where I live now I'd probably get shot at, but I'd be interested to know if there's some sort of cultural thing going on
I'm not gonna take it anymore!

Little does he know that there is actually a shooting going on
It's my money, and I need it now!

When I did this in Trollhättan people told me to shut the fuck up
The perfect time to commit a mugging.
during a shooting? yeah i suppose so
Seems like a pretty chill community.
Apparently it's a nightly tradition in that community.
the screams of the dead shall fill the air for a thousand miles
ghost orgy?
God it sounds like "The_Horror" sound files from Half-Life 1 except creepier and funnier. :v:
Its so creepy and eerie what the heck
Damn, a Zombie invasion is going to be noisy. Never considered that.
Is this why horror game mods always take place in Sweden?
Sounds like coyotes.
We did this in high school. Scream down the hallways and someone would answer, sometimes even in the middle of a subject (teachers weren't very happy).
I live in Australia in an area that borders on the edge of the suburbs and the country in a rather hillish area, pretty much the exact same thing happens if you make a loud noise only because of the way the hills are you can hear people from the other side of the town. (think movie style tribal calls rather than screaming).

There is controversy over how the tradition started. Some locals say it was simply a stress reliever, which started during exam times and then became a daily occurrence. Others say it started in remembrance of a student who committed suicide in the 1970s. A similar tradition exists in one of the student dormitory neighbourhoods in Lund, as well as in the student area of Lappkärrsberget in Stockholm.
