Crybaby. also you're supposed to freerun on those logs and rocks and shit during the catching the guy floating down the river part.
there were much more annoying missions that were actually difficult, and you choose the ones that aren't wat
Assassin creed 3 is the best run on rooftops to a cinematic simulator I have ever played. Just wait till you get to the homestead mission when you break up a fight between the two gay lumberjacks on PC. The game doesnt even come into its own until like sequence 8, it seemed to stop fucking around at that point, it stops being you just meeting faces you read about in middle school social studies, into an actual good game.

"fucking seriously? more quicktime events?" Because we all want a long, dragged out battle when we're trying to catch something.
this is easily one of the most boring games of all time, they need a serious change in direction for this series

I haven't had such a thoroughly unfun experience playing a game in quite awhile. The wilderness, characters, writing, dialogue and graphics are all really cool, and the Revolutionary War setting overall was done far better than I had anticipated. Naval combat is fun enough to be it's own game too. But holy fuck is it annoying to actually play. The constant QTE's, the minigames, the obnoxious bonus objectives, the sheer amount of bugs, the questionable PC port. The best parts of AC are running and stabbing people and you spend so much time doing neither it's mindboggling.

It must be the port.
I'm on the PC and expect some weird homestead missions and the fucking lockpicking I'm having real fun. Only frame drops I noticed, which weren't bad at all and lasted only for few seconds were in Boston. What's funny is New York doesn't seem to have this issue at all for me. And the video is a bit retarded. I, too, don't like the gameplay gets better after sequence 5-6, but those two missions in the video are the least frustrating. And this is my opinion, well, experience. If you played any AC game before you know there is always a free-running path prepared for some missions. In this case the river clearly has rocks inside it creating a path for you. And my main issue is with the characters.
