Well, it's been a while! Few changes to this which I'd like feedback on, new intro music, new font and...static?
Feedback is appreciated and enjoy.
I like it but the static concept is aging.
Plans for the Americans in RnL never go right, Plans for the Germans however usually go okay. Why? I have no idea but I was laughing my ass off at the kid who called the spawns base camp and such trying to be tacticool. Just stay in a group and you're bound to be a steamroller.
I like your turkey noises.
Man, I used to love these, but they're just not funny anymore. It's just repetitive and milked. I think you should start playing some co-op games with your buddies.

Isn't that saying do the same stuff, just with friends?
I really wish they would finish this mod. It's got potential.
Unfortunately the devs think its the best it can be right now and won't let anyone else develop it.

Really...? Is that what they said? That's quite a bit of bollocks then, there are so many tiny bugs that are frustratingly annoying.
They also don't have the time to code it because they have families and jobs right now as they aren't students anymore.
Apparently as I was writing this I checked the RnL Forums. They are moving the mod over to the Cry Engine 3 which will be absolutely fantastic. It's similar to what Ivan's Secret's has done.
You've probably guessed it already, the development of RnL on Source is now merely on life support, the upcoming patch will be the last one.
A few of the remaining team have now moved on to a different engine and we rebooted the mod development on a state of the art engine, CryEngine3. For that we will need your help! Whether you want to create levels, assets or a few lines of code for us, you're welcome to join our team and help us to get this thing going.
Along with the new engine, we redefined our goals and the vision of the project. We want to recreate the mod's experience on CE3 but we won't let the design decisions be guided by 'realism' anymore. Also, you can expect functioning vehicles, real paradrops and wide open levels.
We will reuse many of our assets but many things need to be remade, too and fresh assets and maps are planned as well.
So far we've got one map that's progressing nicely in the white box stage, another one is planned (Eglise) and has gotten some assets prepared. The german player model, the arms and several of our assets have been ported and look quite nice already.
Also, check out the freeSDK on www.CryDev.net
We will let you know more soon.
I couldn't be more excited.
That was hilarious :v:
