So I made a thread in the Garry's Mod videos section a while ago but I thought I'd post it here to get more exposure outside of the small community of people still making Gmod Machinima. Vacuous is a Sci-Fi Dark Comedy that follows Ian, a combine who is left behind all alone on his space station as everyone else goes to fight on earth- his only company appears to be Tim, a giant computer whom is determined to play Monopoly no matter what happens. Ian must come to grips with the situation and become friends with Tim as he realises that he may be alone forever. Directly picking up after the original- Vacuous 2 continues the non-adventures of Ian and Tim. After two days of absolutely nothing happening Ian realises that no one is coming back for him and the ship- this terrifies Ian as he figures out that the humans will be coming for him next. Ian must decide the fate of the ship before it is too late. Editing, writing and music by Yamibito (Joe Price) Ingame acting by Blood-Fury (Arno De Keukelaere) Starring: Blood-Fury as Ian and the cleaning bot. Yamibito as Tim and the airlock guy. I hope you guys enjoyed my kinda dumb films.
I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it.
Thanks a lot- was my first real attempt at making a machinima so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM YES I love the sense of humor in these videos, not a fan of the constant color cross-filtering though. It's refreshing to see some high-quality effort in GMOD videos after so long, keep up the good work.
I actually kinda teared up at the end. Amazing job.
Fucking amazing
Really good stuff, looking forward to more!

Well done.
That was great. Are you planning on making Vacuous 3, or was that the end?
That was great. Are you planning on making Vacuous 3, or was that the end?
Currently no plans for a third, was hoping to wrap it up with the end of the second one but I have a few ideas a for a third film if I wanna do it at some point.
That was awesome.
I really want you to make a third, the end of the second was too depressing for it to just end there.
I'd love to see a third one, but good shows and series are usually better when they are short.
I really enjoyed this. It was simple, had a constant plot, and was executed marvelously. It's a breath of fresh air from the stink most gmod machinimas make. 10/10.
This is really fucking funny. The computer's personality is perfect.
Thanks for all the positivity guys! :downs:
