Is it strange that I am aroused?
Oh shit! Second time ever I have been in time for something like this
When is it going to dock? Is there an ETA from Mission Control?
When is it going to dock? Is there an ETA from Mission Control?
Not that I can see, but the guy talking has stated the ETA a few times, I'd imagine between 10 and 48 mins from what I JUST heard. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] Damn it fenwick and your fewer words...
Thread music!
Thread music!
More like Except they're not launching the shuttle. :v:
What a cool shot.
[IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/GeXyf.png[/IMG_thumb]

What a cool shot.
I was thinking the same thing, so beautiful. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] They're about to go into night, which is gun sux in regards to the views. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] THEY ARE GO FOR DOCKING Also, is that the moon?! It's so tiny :3:
It's happinin'! :aaaaa: EDIT: Just choked on root beer cuz I'm paying more attention to the docking then swallowing or breathing properly...
They're about 30 feet / 10 meters apart from each other now.
Everything looks so still in the videos. Final approach initiated at 25', orbital sunrise in 11 minutes.
Everything looks so still in the videos.
Because it moves very slowly. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] 10 feet / 3 meters
I'm ready to dock with your pressurized mating adapter. :q:
Contact.
Just played the dock EXACTLY in time with the 2001 theme. Greatest moment of my space-watching life.
I'd like to remind everyone of the final space shuttle launch in June with Space Shuttle Atlantis. (Currently scheduled for June 28th).
So close. Score.
Also we should be seeing the orbital sunrise in not too long unless I heard wrong when the dude speaking said when it was.
Earth looks amazing from space.
Also we should be seeing the orbital sunrise in not too long unless I heard wrong when the dude speaking said when it was.
Like now.
I envy astronauts so much.
