Jessica Wing was a healthy Stanford University student when she donated eggs three times in order to help pay for her education. Less than ten years later, she died of colon cancer. Because Jessica had no family history of the disease, her mother, Dr. Jennifer Schneider, wondered if there might be a link between the many hormone injections necessary for egg donation and Jessica’s cancer, which was also found on her ovaries. But to her surprise, Dr. Schneider discovered that not a single study has been done on the long-term health risks of egg donation.

TL;DR: A woman in her early twenties donated her eggs three times and then was diagnosed with colon cancer- she also had tumors on her ovaries. It's impossible to prove whether or not the procedure used to donate egg cells caused her cancer because there has been little to no scientific studies on the subject (which is mostly because egg donars are anonymous- unlike any other organ donars).
