One of the few games that still feels fresh every time I play it. Even playing the same maps since the beginning it always feels unique. That's why I've enjoyed it at least
Why do none of these videos make a distinction between Starter/Normal edition and the cost of vanilla and DLC operators?
It bothers me that these videos just gloss over problems with certain aspects of the game and making it as though it is a way bigger deal than it actually is

I was gonna say, there was a video on the same topic with the exact same thumbnail posted a few days ago.
I keep trying to pick it up and ride the wave but invariably the same thing happens every time: I reinstall the game, play a few matches, got absolutely demolished because I'm playing maps I never learned, feel like I'm costing my teammates the game, and just give up. It's a good game and I played a lot at release but now I just feel bad for people who get matched with me.

I thought I was going crazy because it seems like every few days a video like this but not from him shows up in my recommended then a couple days later he uploads one that is very similar.

I've only seen a couple of his videos, but he sounds like he has no idea what he's talking about here. Which he probably doesn't. He's only level 10. And he's making it sound like the storefront was there on launch, which it wasn't.
DownwardThrust is a moron. Try listening to his video on how to fix battlefield. It's seriously mentally taxing.

I actually prefer this guy recently, makes some decent videos

That was preeeeeetty bad
Not gonna lie, there are some aspects of Siege's design that feel convoluted or left by the wayside (I hardly ever see people buying renown boosters, rarity makes NO sense, skins have oddly specific renown values at times, some later DLC operators have weird interactions that go beyond their gadgets and guns...) but everything is laid out for you in the in-game text, and the parts that aren't you can have explained with a cursory glance at the subreddit or by calling up one of your friends. Which you should have, because soloqueueing r6 is hell and getting into it on your own this far into it's lifecycle can definitely be daunting. Besides, it's just more fun with friends.
But really, there are one or two points that Ubi could work on:
-Drop the starter edition entirely because it's a fucking scam and it only serves to confuse players
-Drop DLC op prices as their seasons become older, Y1s should be 10k renown honestly
-Drop boosters or make them available with a ton of renown or from alpha packs
Other than that, the game is solid. Casual play will get you the original roster in no time and DLC ops every so often, you can make informed decisions about who to get next with a little research. After that, you can blow 10k on a nice outfit for your main or a charm you really like or whatever.
