• TF2: Introducing the Tourettes Kid

So, I was playing TF2 yesterday when this kid starts screaming at somebody in his room with the mic on... The server's responses were hillarious.
What does Tourette's syndrome has to do with this? Verbal tics is just small symptom of it's spectra that only 10-15% has (still a myth if it's from the neurological disorder), yet it does not result in a complete diagnose. This feels like another stereotypical failure that brings a negative effect towards those who has it. It's like saying every single kid in your school would have Tourette's syndrome. Also annoying video, join any server and you'll find somehing like this, try Rust if you haven't (hopefully not). edit: Please inform me what I said wrong instead of hiding.
What does Tourette's syndrome has to do with this? edit: Please inform me what I said wrong instead of hiding.
It's just a game and you should really just relax. I wasn't trying to offend anyone, I was trying to come up with a clever name for the video and since it reminded me of the Tourettes Guy videos that's what I went with. Besides, people on the server lampshaded that the kid was making the whole thing up.

I just find it sad that this contribute to the continuation of false profiles towards those with Tourette's syndrome (giving it a bad image that starts a normalization, with missinformation). A game is still part of a culture, especially with the tools of communication. I don't understand how this should been answered with a "just relax". I can understand you did not meant to offend anyone.

I'd prefere if we would just leave this. I think we both just missunderstand each other.
Speaking as someone with a mild form of Tourette's, it's really just repetitive motor functions or verbal tics, like stretching or flexing muscles or your face, or clearing your throat.

"Do not touch my Mountain Dew and Doritos" and holding the voice key whenever he's yelling at the unknown person. Either it's some kid trying to be funny, or one of your friends trying to be funny for the sake of a video. [sp]Or I have no idea what reality is anymore.[/sp]
I too want to tell people that I have tourettes. Also this video is shit. How can anyone own a Bill's hat and still play with that shitty fov?
