actually yeah after devouring it like wild animals, i was saying to my boyfriend it was more like a boring circle looking waffle... but so good and way easier than cooking a batch of pancakes
I just wanna know why did you put a egg in a small bowl/scoop thing?
It would probably help to mix the batter in a separate container as usual, butter the rice cooker first, and then put it in there.

It's actually a common practice when making things to do this with the egg so you can check if it's still good first. Especially because I keep using eggs way past expiration lol

Oh you know how the rice cooker just knows to stop cooking when the rice is done? It did the same thing with the pancake, however the batter on top still looked a little gooey so I waited a bit and pressed cook again (it cooked then stopped itself in about 2 minutes) and it was all done :-) I have heard others say that when the rice cooker was done the pancake was perfectly done, so I think that is supposed to happen.
I don't own a rice cooker because I can cook rice properly without one.

you could but i love rice cookers, i am chinese so it comes in very handy and I love to make all sorts of stuff in there especially steam other things with my rice at the same time

Have you tried any of the more "dessert-like" recipes?
I saw one where you add cocoa-powder and it basically turns into a miniature chocolate cake, but I feel like using pancake batter for it instead of mixing actual cake batter would put the taste off.

You can actually make desert cakes using batter similar to Pandan waffles.
Next time use astroglide to get that bad boy out without it breaking to fucking dust.

That's a great idea, I do want to use the rice cooker more. When I was a kid my grandmother used to steam a bowl in with the rice that had egg and milk and sugar and it comes out sort of like a flan. I think cake or brownie batter would be fun to try too
