I've been binging on his videos for the past few days after discovering him through Computerphile, and he really needs a thread.

Took me 5 minutes of induction to start noticing an effect.

I can see a very faint pink tinge on the stripes.

It's tomorrow now and its still doing it. Only on the "test image" on the wiki article, but still. It's really damn cool how it persists so long.

Okay guys, update time: I have been following the wiki instructions for about 20 minutes now, annoyingly, have had no actual luck with reproducing the McCollough Effect. I'm really fucking confused. The only time this seemed to do anything was when the sideways bars in the test image blurred a bit and looked kinda pink/grey. This went away after I blinked a few times. I am going to chalk that up to eye strain from pretty much not blinking for a good portion of the last 20 minutes now. I'll be keeping note of any changes in my vision for the next few days after another 10 minutes of looking at these coloured bar images.

His microphone on his colour video had some really trippy sound artifacts - maybe it's just because I'm tired, but I got pretty disoriented.

In addition to the Forename and Surname box thing, I hate when forms have a limited number of characters for names, speaking as somebody with 10 characters in my first name and 13 in my last name. It gets a little ridiculous. Either I truncate it and become potentially unrecognisable by the system or just say fuck it to the form as a whole.
