I just hope Netflix brings the Dofus movie over soon, since they tend to make the races use abilities from the game and that Huppermage girl gets a bunch of screen time.

The Dofus movie was great. I was amazed by how much sex and violence is allowed in a French childrens movie.
Sadly I heard the movie was a commercial failure France because of bad advertising and only showing in select French theaters.
I always enjoyed the cartoon but never liked MMOs. I wish there were single or co-op Wakfu RPGs. But I know they wont since their MMO is their cash cow.

There's a game on Xbox but it's an action rpg that focuses on the Eliatrope. Not much world building there I think.

I recently went through all of it and Dofus + the movie and I am surprised it doesn't have more of a following outside Europe. I'm reading the wakfu manga/comics and I am surprised by all the little hints and characters the show brings from them and the game as surprises for the watcher.
I wish I knew about it before their kickstarter. I hear for $40 the kickstarter would give you exclusive Blurays and a shirt that go on Ebay for $200 minimum. Not that I would actually sell it.
I tried watching wakfu when I heard it was getting localized because reading subtitles kinda sucks.
I know the video says not to watch the dub now, it's trash. Like, highschoolers dubbing hentai trash. Possibly the worst dub I've heard in the last 10 years.

I went through both seasons of the show on Netflix before I realized it had an English dub. I tried it and immediately went back to subs, it was.so awful sounding.

I don't even know how they fucked up as badly as they did. Even [I]I[/I] could do a better Ruel than the cookie monster sounding motherfucker they got.

What is the weirdest to me is that not all of the dubs are horrible. The voice of nox is voiced by the same guy who does Rubick from dota and that is spot on for example. But Ruel alone is literally the worst dub I have ever heard and that is including fan dubs. Every other character could be dubbed amazingly well but Ruel would still kill it all.

It's not the only one. But one of the only ones. I really enjoyed the Kirby and sonic cartoons for example.
Oh and when you say you will be watching english I really hope you mean english subbed.
I liked the dub of the show, though it felt odd with music playing at such a low volume.

The Dofus movie was actually pretty good, even if you know absolutely nothing about the game. That girl is a horrible, unlikable character throughout most of the movie though.
It's too bad MMOs are cancer, I like the cut of this children's cartoon's jib but fuck me I'm not getting into no MMOs.
