"Kill me"
Delicious.
"that is... decapacitated" what
Apparantly when you ask for something thats still breathing in china they actually give it to you while its still breathing.
God I hope that's just an automatic reaction like that squid thing was, and it's not still aware.
Poor little thing :/
Hows it still moving..
It's just nerves. I went fishing ages ago, caught a good garfish for bait. Cleanly and painlessly killed it, chopped off the head and tail, and skinned it to be used for bait. It was still flipping around, a lump of bright green flesh.

I mean, look at that thing... :/
I'm guessing these are moving nerves, like those frogs and squid that looked like they were alive?
And then it sang.
Ain't got no place to lay your head Somebody came and took your bed Don't worry, be happy The land lord say your rent is late He may have to litigate Don't worry, be happy Lood at me I am happy Don't worry, be happy
This and the live skinned frogs makes me think China might possibly be the worst place to be if you're an animal.

I've had fresher.
That's pretty cool, but it's a waste of money. They'd die in a day.
judging by the youtube comments, the turtle isnt the only thing that'd die in a day
I've eaten things like this.
I don't get fish eating vegetarians. They're still creatures.
It's pretty much decapitated, so it doesn't make much of a difference to me if you wait for it to stop twitching before or after serving it.
It's dead. It' moving only because of nerves. I go fishing regularly and have killed hundreds of fish in my life. they all do this when they're killed quickly

See, this is the only one that's actually fucked up. All the other animals in the video are dead, and their bodies are only moving due to chemical reactions from the sauces and salts they're dipped in. THIS IS A LIVE ANIMAL

Reminds me of a kid I met on summer holliday at the beach when I was about 6. He was about my age and there were geckos everywhere. He told me he had caught one he kept in a jar as a pet and showed it to me. It was just a huge glass jar willed to the top with sand. He explained that, since the geckos lived in the sand, he tried to preserve their natural environment and put 'some' in the jar. (which didn't have any air holes by the way). When I asked him where the gecko was, he tilted the glas to reveal it somewhere burried in the sand with it's head caved in and eyeballs popping out. It was a bit sick as he suspected, since it slept in the sand all the time and his head was looking weird. Yes, he crushed it with all this sand. That was kind of horrifying, a kid killing things out of pure... being a kid. That's what those turtles remind me of. LOOK MAMA, IT'S ASLEEP
I don't get fish eating vegetarians. They're still creatures.
Technically it's called pescetarianism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pescetarianism I think the most common arguments for it are that fish are more healthy and that it doesn't cause as much pollution (green house gases in particular). But yeah, people who eat fish and call themselves vegetarians are simply wrong.
I have to be honest, it looks delicious to me.
Once i tried to cook it, i followed instruction from the video on youtube. But, unfortunately it wasn't cooked well, so i was unable to all of it, just near the skin.
I love eating 'live' octopus. If you don't 'disable' them you are going to have one epic fight in between the tongue and the suction cups.
The dancing squid freaked me out.
