These are pretty standard components, and are not in any way exclusive to 3D printing. Hell, you could say it was made from laser cutter or CNC machine parts just as easily. 3D printing is becoming more of a buzzword than anything, as of late.[/del]
Bad reading on my part. I didn't realize it meant the individual components were made using a 3D printer. I still stand by the buzzword thing, though.

I agree, but it still is amazing technology. it allows people to do things you couldn't years ago.
