I personally find this amazing, I'm interested about our environment, and I think this is a way to go. It's an awesome idea as a start.

Actually, this has been going on in the US and around the world for quite some time, it's called urban agriculture.

It happened for a few years in Germany during WW2 but that wwas only because they were desperate for food so they planted stuff literally at roadsides, I didn't know the US did this, probably southern states

My neighbors have chickens despite the fact that we live in a downtown area. It's great fun-- and it's quite economic.
