I honestly did not expect an Imquisition
This actually gave me a headache when I tried to watch it.
You know you fucked up hardcore when you make The War Z's shenanigans look better in comparison.
Maybe Earth: Year 2066 is some sort of video game manchurian candidate. On its surface it's a shitty early access game designed by a retard but in truth it's a clever plot by anti-Greenlighters like Jim, to subvert the whole system. :tinfoil:
And of course the storefront tag list for this game is scrubbed clean of everything but the generic tags you see on every other product. Wouldn't want anyone to put anything actually informative in there. If you let that happen they could be, god forbid, useful.

I can't type in stuff like "Bad", "Ripoff" or "Complete shit" anymore.
Oh boy... I hope TB gets his hand on this game.
I feel bad because my gut feeling just wants to see what the full model for the robot the player is playing as looks like. My logical feeling does remind me that robot player character a good game does not make, however.
Steam destroyed the point of tags. I can't type in stuff like "Bad", "Ripoff" or "Complete shit" anymore.
You can't even put tags like "Bad Port", "Broken game" or "Walking Simulator" any more. And they removed "Rules of nature!" and "Nanomachines, son!", which are entirely harmless tags. You can't give the community the ability to label shit if you don't want them to have fun with it.
Part of the solution would be to not allowed developers to self moderate their forums and pages. They should not be able to delete reviews.
Oh my god it makes Sergey Titov look professional
Part of the solution would be to not allowed developers to self moderate their forums and pages. They should not be able to delete reviews.
They can't directly delete reviews, only flag them as being off topic/inaccurate or whatever. The review still exists in all ordering and keeps its helpfulness, but it gets collapsed down and needs to be opened to see.
I always find it baffling how Valve seem not to care about that sort of stuff happening on their store.
Oh boy... I hope TB gets his hand on this game.
TB said his "Steam Sells" series is making good money, which is why he's going to continue it indefinitely, so rest assured he'll eventually get around to this I bet.
It was also funny to see them doing damage control by editing some posts to positive views, and not knowing that everyone can see the "last edited by..." part.
