Adele had one of the biggest albums in ages and one of the best reputations in the current pop industry then vanished to have a baby. She then came back and did it with a song that the majority of people really liked and is generally much more relatable than most other pop artists. So it's a big deal to a lot of people, hence why tv shows want a piece of the action.
oh ok to me Adele never really stopped being a thing so I guess I'm not as hyped
I don't understand the popularity of the song at all.
Well I mean it's a good song but still the meme qualities of it kind of confused me. I guess since she's been on hiatus it makes sense.

Shes been on a break from music for a couple of years to take care of her newborn and shes back.
I think Jimmy Fallon should be standing in the back where his face can't be seen and the other musicians should be sitting next to Adele.
