As funny as this is, it's pretty sad how in the US Democrats are convinced to the death that they're the only reasonable people and that Republicans are literally all that's evil in the world and vice versa - from what I can see on the internet at least. Especially in SH.
I remember how people said they had lost respect for Chuck Norris because he was republican. People literally saw this as some kind of objective bad. This is just absurd and sick, it's like people are brainwashed to support one party in a "us vs them" mentality.

from what i've seen with and ~outsiders perspective~, both parties are bad but republicans are (generally) a lot worse, at least among the actual politicians
there's some real fucking nut jobs on either side though
