I kinda enjoyed idea of this device though the subscription system kinda sucks.
I'd rather buy finished device that will be usable till it breaks instead of paying monthly for using it :v:
Their website: http://www.luciding.com/
I'm not sure how this works.
And why would pay monthly for what it is; "it detects REM sleep then sends a pulse to your brain". Is that even healthy?

the way the video was structured and the language they used makes it seem super sketchy
tbh I like having no control over my dreams, it's liking watching a movie vs making it
This has got to be fake. First off, how do they "give" you lucid dreams? Second, how would they even give me what I asked for? If I asked for some hot alien sex dream could they give it to me?
This is some insane cash grab/major placebo effect.

Scientific Experiments proven that sending currency of 2mA at 40 Hz to specific part of brain (Frontal Lobe) can result in lucid dreaming.

A dude on DreamViews forums himself attempted that induction of lucid dreams and he said that it gave him nearly 100% dream recall and most of time lucid dreams (Around 77% success rate?)
His set that he used to accomplish this:

I'd like to have proof that this device works before trusting any of this.
why would i pay money to some dudes to LD when i can literally LD any night i want?

I, for one, would like to lucid dream through my own earnest efforts thank you very much. If there is one thing I don't want to affigy, it is my ability to dream without having some ridiculous device strapped to, on, or into me.

I've heard of this and always wanted to get some cheap electronics and tape onto my head to see if it would work. You should look up the god helmet if you haven't already.
But I definitely do not want to pay $300 once and then some sum every month to do this. There are ways to lucid dream for free too but it requires patience and practice I guess.

oh it doesn't look so cheap
This has got to be a joke

I wanted myself to construct such device but then i stumbled upon problem that i don't know how to specify hertz at which i want current to flow :v:
Electrical impulses to the brain are the next big drug.
People having a zap before they go take their SAT for the math bonus, people zapping themselves in their sleep for lucid dreams, it's gonna happen.
Dreams are a core part of our subconscious psychology. I wouldn't want to tamper with any aspect of that, dreams are incredibly powerful.
I never managed to achieve lucid dreaming, the only thing I had was sleep paralysis and I would like none of that shit ever again. But paying a buttload of money and monthly fee just to have lucid dreams is IMO not worth it.

The difference between lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis is closing your eyes and imagining whatever you want instead of having a staring contest with the hag.
Subscription-based?
You're literally paying them for sending a message to your device that tells it to work.
I like the few dreams I have, more of them and lucid sounds great. Don't know if this is really reliable though. Would love a means of it though.

Surely this device might end up like jailbroken iphones
1. Somebody decompiles android app
2. Modifies it or creates his own for mangaing the device
3. Makes it send data that will make it work
4. 'Freedom' :v:

Patience and practice is the most effective approach. The most effective one is just to start writing a dream journal.
Devices like this are more like "aid" for active lucid dreamers. That's why it looks so much like bullshit for the people who don't know what lucid dreaming is.
That aside, I too think that the video looks like bullshit loosely based on science.
During my "lucid dreaming" phase I took B6 vitamin pills that helped me a lot. Because they increase the vividness of your dreams.
I've always tried getting lucid dreams but I can't seem to get the hang of it.
But I aint giving money to people for just some LD's lol
can someone tell me an effective way to get one?
So they want to make a dreammachine? Yeah go play dreamfall chapters for a bit and you'll see what really happens.

I'd suggest you going with standard DILDs like Reality Checks.
They are more reliable than WILDs to be honest.
Yet if your waking up at night during rem phase randomly (Dreams without reason destabilizing and causing you to wake up) DEILD could be a gold one for you :v:

Funny how i can control my dreams somewhat, like sometimes i realize something is wrong and this isn't real and i close my eyes and concentrate, and i wake up. Other times i think of things that happened during the day or might happen tomorrow, or control things by imagining them and they just simply appear or a scene changes but i find that to be "normal" for some reason when they happen. I never got to the point where i realized this is a dream and actually control it and play around with it.

Will Euros or pounds work, or do I need USD?

Finger induced lucid dreaming has worked for quite a few people.
Man they should have really hired someone else to narrate that video, someone who doesn't sound like they're going to kill me in my sleep.
I've made myself a personal guide to lucid dreaming actually, once I figured out how it worked. Takes a lot of concentration I have to admit; And the downside of doing it wrong is either sleeping or sleep Paralysis
