it's stupid as shit though cause as good as it is the iPhone's touchscreen is shit in dusty or wet conditions
if you add an intermediate membrane it degrades performance.

Considering how thick the phone is and how much energy a .50 round has, it makes some sense that the bullet would just pass straight through without ripping it clean in half or blowing it to all fuck.
And the fact that the bullet just grazed the top of the phone.
