Last month some time I was asked to make a promo video for Marcodi. After a bit of slacking I eventually got into the right mindset and out this was pooperated: All of the melodic sounds are the Harpejji instrument, which is kind of like a guitar-piano hybrid. Anyways, I think it turned out pretty good, so I wanted to share. :D MP3 Download: http://www.hamsteralliance.com/music/2011/THA-harpejjipromo.mp3
Awesome music, Hamst3r!
If I had the money, I would totally try to learn and play the Harpejji. [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Also, that was sick.
That instrument looks pretty awesome.
Where exactly does one get one of these?
Have my babies. <3
Thanks, all! :3
Where exactly does one get one of these?
http://www.marcodi.com is the only place they're available at the moment. :)
I like your beard
So, it's like a million-string lap steel guitar?
It does look cool but it's kinda expensive.
So, it's like a million-string lap steel guitar?
Something like that. ;) What makes it a bit unique: There are separate pre-amps for the bass and guitar strings so they can be processed differently. Also, each string has it's own pickup and a muting circuit, so a string only makes sound when it's touching a fret. The latter being one of the things that got me interested in it in the first place. oh and it's 24 strings, just a few under a million.
