Doesnt qualifier mean they spent money to do this? Also I liked ESL on FB for CSGO and all theyve been posting is Halo and CoD for a few weeks now. It's boring as fuck to watch, and not at all impressive. This is the one good thing ive seen from it so far.
Doesnt qualifier mean they spent money to do this?
nope basically teams played in rank till they reached the top, then get a invite to the qualifiers. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/halo-championship-series
Sounds like red team lacked the skill blue team had

its not cheating, it's advanced strategy

People were making the craziest plays with jetpacks and wall running.
Sounds like red team lacked the skill blue team had
skill to mapbreak, or actually play the game in the tournament? it seems blue team got ahead/equivalent in points and ran off to force the game to time out without risk, because while blue can't score anything, red can't either, and if they're behind and out of reach, the only thing they can do is stare at the asshole behind the window, or try mapbreaking and die falling (which they did). I'm pretty sure that's a disqualifier in a lot of tournaments, and that's on top of the more blatant fact they went OOB with mapbreaking. People who do this usually lack confidence in their ability to actually win by continuing to play and do it to secure any (fluke) lead they might have gained [editline]e[/editline] oh god the names
the halo champ rules https://content.halocdn.com/media/Default/community/hcs/handbook/hwc-rules-v20151118-1000c443f48346b789f585e9dd28c62e.pdf
Warning and Penalty system. All warnings and penalties are given to the team, not the individual player (example: 1 player on Team A warned 3 times is the same as 3 players on Team B each being warned once [3 total warnings]). Depending on the severity of the action or conduct by a player, multiple warnings may be handed out for a single infraction, up to and including bypassing warnings and resulting in an immediate penalty. Examples below: ● Profane words or phrases ● Controversial religious topics ● Threats/implied violence ● Destroying tournament equipment ● Punctuality ● Not following tournament staff instructions ● Going into replays After a maximum of three (3) warnings, a penalty is enforced. Penalties may range from forfeiting the next game, forfeiting the next match, to reduction of prize money earned by the team. Teams may also be warned or incur a penalty for repeated warnings in regards to the same rule. Penalties may also be combined with other penalties (ex: team forfeits the next game AND forfeits 1% of prize money earned).

Some infractions may result in warnings and penalties being bypassed with immediate disqualification from the remaining of the tournament being enforced. Examples of behavior or actions that could result in this are: ● Physical acts violence ● Cheating ● Collusion/manipulating the bracket ● Drug/substance abuse on-site ● Any illegal activities ● Betting or gambling on HaloWC tournament or match results ● Hate speech ● Harassment
Glitching the map falls under cheating.
Technically is cheating because they're abusing an exploit in the map.
This match was a joke if you havent figured by now. They werent seriously thinking they could get away with it

Halo has a competitive scene?
Halo has a competitive scene?
Halo was what made MLG big before Starcraft
This match was a joke if you havent figured by now. They werent seriously thinking they could get away with it
Still dumb to purposefully lose your match to goof on somebody.
Well, for the first time actually seeing a team using exploits in a competitive championship in a game. I play in some LAN parties, that whenever you cheat, and use anything like exploits/glitches will immediately send you to grab your PC and go home. Even at my school a long time ago this rule is normal.

What the hell, thats disgraceful as fuck and I can't believe they'd think that was acceptable.
Halo has a competitive scene?
Halo 5* has a competitive scene?
Halo 5* has a competitive scene?
There's a Halo 5?
Halo 5* has a competitive scene?
yup and it sports a dota 2 style prizepool where the community pitches into the pot by buying req packs
Halo 5* has a competitive scene?
why wouldn't it? mp seems pretty solid from what i've heard
why wouldn't it? mp seems pretty solid from what i've heard
It's alright but honestly Destiny's is much better
its not cheating, it's advanced strategy
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing professional bug-offs.
Seems to me they were just running down the clock, not using the hidden spots to camp an kill players unfairly. If this were the NFL, it'd be legal
It's alright but honestly Destiny's is much better
except it's destiny? there isn't much room for it to be competitive
The whole entire team is a joke im pretty sure, i know its been said but people are debating as if this team cares if they cheat or not
