Weird, I'd have thought it had something to do with PTSD and how the main character basically becomes super fucked up in the end and decides to stay on the island because killing, surviving, everything he's had to do on that island to save the people he cared about, it's a thing that's become a part of him.
What exactly makes anything in Far Cry 3 resemble misogyny exactly? Like I understand he wrote it, but I didn't really find a hint of any sort of misogyny to say that is the main focus.

It's about the fact that Jason being some mighty whitey savior and hero is a complete farce and turns out to be subversion of expectations due to how fucked up he gets over the course of the story, and the fact that [sp]you die if you side with Citra and kill your friends being a method of telling the player that trying to "save the hot princess"[/sp] is the player being a "misogynistic idiot." He also blames people for only half-listening to the plot and not understanding his attempts at the deeper parts of the story.
Which is kind of hard to do when the plot is kind of all over the place and scattered about a game that has you running around killing tons of people and animals for hours on end.

I mean, seriously? That's so obviously the point of the game, I don't see how you could just ignore it and say "duh, it's obviously about fucking around". This is not even me over-analyzing, it's just you not analyzing the game at all (no offense).

If that was what they were trying to go for, I think they messed up. Plot hook and body count are absurd by any realistic standards but as far as videogames go it's completely run-of-the-mill, and neither clearing outposts of a handful of mooks nor hunting animals were psychedelic experiences by any stretch. Blood Dragon's funky colors alone made it feel way more trippy than anything in FC3.

The idea behind Far Cry 3 is multiple deconstructions of the concepts and how nothing is making fucking sense throughout the entire game.
Just take a read around [url=http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/FarCry3]TVTropes page[/url] for it to see how people point out what a fucking loon of a ride this is.
On-topic, I didn't like the video at all. I like more of his interactions with Cyanide and co., this felt really unfunny compared to rest of his vids imo.
