For those who don't know, Seven Star Reanimate is a group animation project in which many different artists and animators came together to re-animate an entire episode of the original Dragon Ball shot-by-shot (done in each artist's personal style). The episode used for this project was the eighth episode of the original series (a.k.a. the eighth episode of the "Hunt for the Dragon Balls" arc), specifically the BLT Productions english dub of the series (which was in fact the very first thing Funimation had EVER produced, around one year after they were founded in 1994) because the person who started the project really liked the opening theme to this dub (though for scenes that were edited out of this dub, they were put back in using Funimation's later in-house dub).

That was fantastic, I wish I heard about it, I would have loved to contribute something.
I remember someone did something similar for Sailor Moon

Funny you bring that up, as Moon Animate Make-Up was in fact the inspiration for this project.

I really like the intro song, I don't think I've heard it before.
