put this in department stores and i guarantee it will sell and they'll make a profit. think about how many god awful crosleys get sold? now imagine if it had a gimmick to lure people in too.

Some people like novelty items.
If it worked at least a little bit and didn't ruin your records, it would have been pretty cool. Oh, and also a lot cheaper
