http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-behind-back-to-the/706587 Christopher Lloyd joins the crew to discuss the idea of bringing Back to the Future back in game form! http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-behind-back-to-the/706591 See how Telltale Games filled the shoes of the voice role for Marty McFly!
I have one thing to say... GREAT SCOTT.
It will be terrible, you can't recreate that awesome movie in just a game.
It will be terrible
I disagree. It's fucking Telltale. Telltale gave us Sam and Max. SAM AND MAX.
Oh wow, that guy sounds a lot like Marty.
It's talltale it won't suck [editline]23rd October 2010[/editline]
Oh wow, that guy sounds a lot like Marty.
Thats because it is him. And Doc has the same actor as the dude in the movies too
It will be terrible, you can't recreate that awesome movie in just a game.
Not a recreation. New, original story. Bob Gale is helping them do it. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline]
Thats because it is him.
It's not.
Not a recreation. New, original story. Bob Gale is helping them do it. [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] It's not.
it isn't? i thought they said they did :saddowns:
it isn't? i thought they said they did :saddowns:
Michael J. Fox let them use his likeness, but he couldn't record, so they got a sound-alike. Lloyd is doing Doc, though.
Anyone else think that Christopher Lloyd didn't sound as friendly and awesome as he did in the movies?
Anyone else think that Christopher Lloyd didn't sound as friendly and awesome as he did in the movies?
that is what happens when you leave a acting role for 20 years
A free roam BTTF game where you could roam a city and go back in time, dick around, and have it somehow effect the city in the future would be badass. This should still be fun though.
Yes I am aware it's been ages but y'know, he just didn't sound like The Doc anymore. To me anyway
Holy fuck I want to sound like Marty.
Bwahahah, AJ sounds exactly like Michael J Fox that I had to do a doubletake :roflolmao:
Most of the time TellTale makes great games, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one was awesome.
That Marty impression gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. He's absolutely amazing at it.
When i heard doc brown i nostalgia'd all over the place. Instant buy.
I grew up with Back to the Future, I will love it either way.
"Doc, This is heavy"
"Doc, This is heavy"
You keep saying that, is something wrong with the Earth's gravity in the future?
Instantly reminded of this. I really hope they do a good job and holy jesus that Marty voice was good.
Ahh man, I was hoping it would be an FPS where you played as one of the arabian terrorists in the beginning of the first film... Or at least that one mission would be Marty going back in time to slay Hitler and perhaps start the third reich by himself - turning it into a RTS game.. Or maybe a freeplay mode where you could travel to any time period you'd want.. that's possible right?.. guys, it's possible right?
I hope Huey Lewis records new songs for it
This is the only Back to the Future game I have ever played:
I disagree. It's fucking Telltale. Telltale gave us Sam and Max. SAM AND MAX.
Agreed. They also made Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, which was just awesome, and not to mention Sam and Max AND Tales from Monkey Island. They're awesome at this stuff, so I can hardly doubt them.
It's been done on NES or the SNES I think and it sucked ass.
I think it will be awesome, since it has a brand new storyline, and isn't trying to be like the movie
I hope Huey Lewis records new songs for it
MAXIMUM NOSTALGIA. ACTIVATE. God I hope youre right.
Movies to Games suck because each scene requires its own game mechanic, and most games struggle to get their own damn couple mechanics right
it isn't? i thought they said they did :saddowns:
Michael J Fox was a bit too shaken up to do the voice overs.
