Transformers: Combiner Wars Online Series Prelude 1 of 4

So word has been going around of the new Transformers series coming soon later this year. It's gonna be CGI with the writer of "Megas XLR" at the helm featuring Starscream, the Combiners Menasor, Superion, maybe Devastator, and the new fan-made character Windblade. This is 1 out of 4 prelude trailers in a Motion Comic to push the background out the window. The final product is not gonna look like this! Just putting that out there.
Jon Bailey is Optimus Prime in the trailer instead of Peter Cullen, which is weird.

I think its okay, though this trailer isn't really showing us anything. Prime's voice is meh.
[sp]TFW2005.com is being very childish right now its pretty sad.[/sp]
Updated with the Youtube link. My god the comments for the video is full of dumb people!
G1 ho baby
It's cool to see Jon Bailey's career progress, I remember watching his toy reviews when I was little baby, and now he's doing commercials for the movies and now this.
In terms of tfw2005 being childish, the transformers fan community has always been extremely petty. After all they were the community that invented the term "raped my childhood".
I use to be of the same mindset when I was 13 loving transformers and being conservative about how the transformers lore should be treated. After seeing the 2007 movie again recently, it's actually a fun dumb movie. Unfortunately the Fandom rejects anything that's not G1. The most compelling part of transformers story telling imo is beast wars, and they rejected it because it wasn't G1, TRUKK NOT MUNKEE.
There was even the well made third person shooter based on the armada series that was rejected by the fan's just because it wasn't based on G1.
I could rant on the narrow mindedness of the older transformers community all day, but imagine getting mad about something this petty, right
The more I hear Jon doing the voice, it doesn't sound all that bad. I mean he WAS the Councilman in X-Com 1 & 2. I hear that Chris McFeely does a killer Megatron voice. To keep people from flipping out, here is the REAL product of the series, and the series schedule is right here:
Prelude to Transformers: Combiner Wars – Victorion: July 5
Prelude to Transformers: Combiner Wars – Starscream: July 12
Prelude to Transformers: Combiner Wars – Windblade: July 19
Transformers: Combiner Wars series launch: August 2

I hear ya about that. Awful thing about is that they are still thinking that this series is G1. It's G1-ish, but its ultimately based off the toyline and IDW comic mini "Combiner Wars." The figures themselves look cool, and the combiner gimmick is amazing for mixing-matching 5 characters for one combiner. The comic itself is meh compared to the whole comic series, but whatever Hasbro does to sell toys is their business. Honestly it also means that we can get to see who voices Starscream and Windblade.
Part two of the Prelude is here: Starring the Fan-made Combiner Victorian!!
She's got a nice voice, and a TON of character moreso than the comic iteration funnily enough.
