How was Lavender Town from Pokemon R/B/Y not on here at #1?
Spookiest "level" I can think of from a game that isn't spooky is probably every falmer cave in skyrim, dark damp and usually very quiet, it's very eerie. I walked into one early on in my first play through and nearly shit myself when a falmer leaped out of a whole in the wall to attack me.

I don't know, when I was a kid I definitely thought it was creepy but now as an adult when I look back at it it seems really morbid, a Pokémon graveyard? I thought this was a kids game? Not to mention the "lavender town syndrome" creepypasta
Any one who puts lavender town in any sort of “totally spooky you guys” list is the same person who find the piano from mario 64 scary to this day

Fuck i completely forgot about that level. I had to watch a speedrun of that level during my first playthrough to get through it..
