Looks meh
It's just like the first game, rather generic co-op third person action. I think that's why I loved the first game so much, it was a good game that me and a friend could pick up and play in an instant. :v:
So many ugly lens effects.
Looks like a generic third person shooter.
the camera seems to get fucked up all the time ? or maybe its just me.
God damn, that looks boring as hell. Also, ugly.
I don't even fucking know what this game is :v: From the gameplay, I'm confused to fuck as to why theres some middle eastern/chinese transport helicopter with a fucking gun on the front of it.
It might be just me, but is anyone else getting sick of the cover system in games today? They add strategy and other elements, as-well as realism. But I'm sick of entering a gun fight, ducking behind a crate and just popping up to shoot enemies in the face. It gets old.
the camera seems to get fucked up all the time ? or maybe its just me.
Maybe just you. The devs applied a handycam filter, which would explain artifacts and jpeg compression. Makes it look...strangely realistic if you ask me.
I really only think of this game as a bad Army of Two ripoff. From what I've played so far, it's quite horrible. Half of the time, the camera isn't there where you want it to be and most of the effects are downstraight annoying during combat. Combat is boring, unlike Army of Two this doesn't even have any sort of tactic you can use, just duck into cover and shoot them when they're not.
Looks like a generic consolized thirdperson game, dull graphics, I don't know what about the story it seems like run and gun everyone on your way.

Without cover systems, third person shooter games would just incredibly boring. You'd just have to be running around back and forth in circles in the area while shooting at enemies that are just standing there and shooting at you. Do you really want that?

Mass Effect is an amazing game, but the cover system makes me want to shoot myself in the foot half the time, It's so clumsy and annoying and it really, really throws a crank in the gears when it comes to combat. A game that has done it almost perfectly for me is Killzone 2, now it is a first person shooter (with a cover system) but it doesn't fully rely on the cover system to not make combat rubbish, it has both elements of run and gun and cover and blends them rather nicely. I just wish games wouldn't make you sit in a corner waiting for your enemy to blindly shoot "somewhere" near your location then inevitably reload or find a penny on the floor to retaliate.

If you don't want it to be boring, then keep constantly moving from cover to cover, try to flank your enemy and stuff like that. Cover systems don't mean that you have to stay behind one piece of cover all the time.

I'm probably nit-picking here, but the cover system is overused.
ugh sometimes fp's high standards disgust me wait no not sometimes all the time
The singleplayer looks really meh. What I like about it is the concept of the multiplayer. I haven't tried it, but I like the idea of a heist that you can turn on your teammates for better self profit.
ugh sometimes fp's high standards disgust me wait no not sometimes all the time
I wouldn't say that FP's standards are high, it's just "most" of us aren't entertained by someone jangling their keys in front of our faces.
The AI looks fucking stupid for both the police and your ally. At one point in the video he asks you to flank them as you cover the right flank. But he can clearly not handle the left flank and they begin to break through.

Even if this game is short and has flaws, it's personality and style are so unique. [editline]04:32PM[/editline] Also if you turn of shaky cam you're dumb. [editline]04:35PM[/editline]
ugh sometimes fp's high standards disgust me wait no not sometimes all the time
Yeah it's pretty terrible. From I can tell that the firefights are very intense, the action is gritty, and the characters aren't giant beasts with no personality for once.
This is 2010, where are the good graphics, DX11 tessellation damnit!

Don't know about all of you, but I actually want to try this game.
So what happened to all the people in the Kane and lynch 2 thread that said it was fun? [editline]08:00PM[/editline] Anyways I liked the multiplayer in the demo, but I heard the singleplayer is kind of short.
It's too short for a $60 but at least a rental, you're not going to get this kind of presentation anywhere else.
Is it really only about 4 hours?
The trailer graphics look great, this, meh. Gameplay looks generic too.
