Deadmau5 + foo fighters were like an hundred times better.
I know people dislike deadmau5 for reasons, and they have arguments against those points. Whereas with Guetta, I can't think of a single reason why someone would listen to his monotone shit. [sp] I can't wait for the "says the deadmau5 fanboy with the deadmau5 avatar" posts[/sp]

They are different genres really. Oh and to guetta listens all my school girls.
I want that electronic helmet
I want that electronic helmet
iirc it's worth $60,000,000 a fan once remade the LED head and deadmau5 offered him $50,000 for it, but the fan declined it.
iirc it's worth $60,000,000 a fan once remade the LED head and deadmau5 offered him $50,000 for it, but the fan declined it.
When i grow up, I'm gonna do the same.
iirc it's worth $60,000,000
Wait what, it's a helmet with LEDs on it, that sounds pretty simple Correct me if I'm wrong
Wait what, it's a helmet with LEDs on it, that sounds pretty simple Correct me if I'm wrong
Helmet itself is interactable led.
Wait what, it's a helmet with LEDs on it, that sounds pretty simple Correct me if I'm wrong
60 MILLION dollars is a bit B.S, most likely more like 600,000 if anything. Also I really fucking like Deadmau5.
60 MILLION dollars is a bit B.S, most likely more like 600,000 if anything. Also I really fucking like Deadmau5.
It is worth that. IT IS WHOLE HEAD A LED.

Considering the Mau5head is of Joel's own design, probably the software as well, and the fact that he (a celebrity) wears and uses it often, I think it's worth a fair amount. But definitely not 60mil.

The only reason why he is big is because he uses big name vocalists. I imagine most of the time the vocals are auto tuned anyways. Mau5 though, I don't like his attitude on specific things but he makes really good music. Much more unique and original than most people in his genre.
I'm not a fan of deadmau5. His stuff is really all the same and repetitive. And as far as actual electronic, it's really not even anywhere near notable. Guetta, on the other hand, I like. He's varied, and I like that.

If by generic you mean common, then yes, kind of, because he was one of the ones who brought the electronic/dance-type of style into some of the mainstream channels. Now that's commonplace in pop, house, and dance. Boring I don't get at all though.
death to Deadmau5, the resistance lives on:
Actually, it's the other way :v:
I can't tell much of a difference between most of the songs I've heard by deadmau5. Like, literally. I'm not putting him down for that, I'm just saying, his songs are mostly just the same beat repeated and the same bit placed in there at an interval every 4 repetitions. And a majority of the songs are similar sounding. The only time that it's any different is when he has a vocalist, and that's not his music doing it- it's the vocalist.

I when i play new guetta song on class, everyone is like turn off that old song until i say it's the new song. Every him song sounds literally the same. Oh and most of deadmau5 songs don't have words, but they have deeper meanings than most of guetta songs. Deadmau 5 > Guetta. Now i feel like the fanboy (I'm probably am) Yea, sure, the same :v: /Sarcasm off.

I must say, that mask is pretty fucking cool.
lol, they are both god-fucking-awful. it's like arguing between one pile of manure and another pile of manure that is made out of different animal excrement.
I like everything I hear by Deadmau5, but I still don't "like" him. I don't actually seek him out to listen to or anything. That helmet is fucking cool though.
;35125521']Deadmau5 is repetitive. Baguetta is varied.
Are you serious?
lol, they are both god-fucking-awful. it's like arguing between one pile of manure and another pile of manure that is made out of different animal excrement.
get out. Oh and i also like everything about deadmau5. He created his appearance himself, are fucking cool guy, he created his own electro subgenre. The best electronical music artist.
lol, they are both god-fucking-awful. it's like arguing between one pile of manure and another pile of manure that is made out of different animal excrement.
ima go to a thread knowing i hate the music, peopel will love me xDDDDDD [editline]13th March 2012[/editline] Get out.

I'm not saying Guetta is amazing or outstanding, but Deadmau5 is just plain repetitive.

On the other hand, deadmau5 creates his songs from scratch. Oh and also that beat is his signature sound, sorta like skrillex wub wub wub effect. Guetta doesnt have it. That is all
On the other hand, deadmau5 creates his songs from scratch.
deadmau5 is a bloody con-artist who steals from other people who do make their songs from scratch. these are people who made their songs from scratch: all David Guetta and Deadmau5 do is mill out cliche's in order to make a quick buck. thanks to that the mainstream's conception of electronic music has changed as well.
