Wait, I definitely do not recall dynamic music being a thing in the original Zelda, though?

In the very first NES game, Legend of Zelda, there was not dynamic combat music.
The very next game, Zelda II, had it, however.
Almost everyone DYKG gets to read their scripts sounds unbearably annoying.

Sounds like this guy is trying to sound to excited. Like, I get a "HEY DO YOU LIKE VIDEO GAMES? LOL" vibe from this dude's voice.

Don't think Zelda II had it either. There was music for the overworld, for the dungeons, and the combat screen. There was no seamless transition between the screens, so I don't think you can call it dynamic.

i like how instead of bringing up things like the zelda theme and the dungeon theme being ripped off from a deep purple song they opted to make shit up
