I want it sooo bad!

"It's more beautiful than I ever imagined!"
EDIT:
Rage will be for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3
Not much dead about it, Very nice environments though, and a crossbow :fuckyou:
id stop making bodies disappear within seconds
it really kills the immersion when some black shit starts circling a corpse
I couldn't stand that trailer for more than 2 minutes due to console controller...
bloody screen, so real
waoh... looks like another console port
too bad, it was actually look decent at the beginning.
bloody screen jelly... enemies don't even look that hard... carry 10 weapons at a time..
I don't see why anyone would buy this.
I don't get it, Am I the only person who would like to get this game?
Borderlands?
[editline]19th April 2011[/editline]
And Fallout 3
Looks pretty awesome in my opinion.
Id Software has always had their games available on many platforms, RAGE on 360 and PS3 is only a good sign.
Looks great, and it's an id game and thus can't possibly suck.
The throwing blade thing seems a bit over-powered. And was that a health bar at the bottom left? I couldn't tell because Machinima had it's DICK in the screen.
The city looks amazing, disappointing that it's linear though.
I don't think the whole game is linear. It is also a sandbox game. At least that is what Wikipedia says.

Um... the big fella seemed difficult to take down, but it is hard to say without actually playing the game(the same goes for you). As far as carrying multiple weapons at one time, well... that is Id Software for you. They do that with all of their games which all seem to come out really nice.
The environments look great but the gameplay looks pretty underwhelming. There's not much of a sense of danger in the combat.

True, but this is only a small snippet from the first half of the game so the enemies aren't going to be all that tough. Just think back to Doom3. The enemies where never really tough until late in the game(just scary as fuck).
I'm glad id is keeping a little bit of FPS with this game. Like carrying a lot of weapons at a time, I for one enjoy the classic FPS crap.
Me too. It brings back good memories.

It doesn't matter how tough they are, they should add to the immersion and feel like living creatures. As it stands I think they act more like NPCs and not bloodthirsty monsters in an abandoned, decrepit city. I don't know how far along the game is in devalopment terms, I haven't been following it. All I'm going to say is I hope the enemies are a little more convincing when the game ships.

No idea how the development is going to be honest, but I agree with you as far as the enemies behavior not being very convincing. What I do know about the development is that Id is making the first half of the game last for whatever reason.
I've been looking forward to this game. Seems nice so far.
Borderlands Alpha Version (It's a good thing, because I like this setting)
To bad that city is probably going to be linear.
A city? Linear? Why I'd never.
Still looks a bit rough around the edges.
Borderlands Alpha Version (It's a good thing, because I like this setting)
Rage is nothing like Borderlands.
Wasn't really that impressed.
These things bothered me the most:
* Bodies disappearing. Personally I hate it when bodies disappear before my eyes. It would be nicer if they would stay for a longer period of time. FarCry had a good solution for this by letting the player choose hong long they'll stay.
* The physics engine looks like it's not even present. Car didn't move when the big guy rushed towards it. The car seems to be bolted to the ground.
* The ragdolls look like to be same that were in doom 3. Stiff like boards.
The combat gameplay looks shit. I was EVEN looking forward to this game until I saw this trailer.
Its like fallout and borderlands done right
