It says in the fine print at the bottom of the video that it will be available for everyone for free after 90 days.
Wait so it's F2P?
Wait so it's F2P?
pre-order dlc im assuming
Of course 2K wouldn't hold back with their usual pre-order shenanigans. It's not their worst, but still...
Well I guess it's better than straight day-one DLC... On the other hand 90 days is a long-ass time.

Hell, I'm probably going to load up Civ V later today. In any case, I'm fine with this kind of pre-order bonus. I've always hated the concept of them, but if there is any way to do it, I would say that offering a non-permanent bonus like this would be it. It solves the issue of publishers desperately trying to push pre-orders and doesn't lock down content for those of us (me included) who don't like pre-ordering.
Yup, looks like Civilization alright.
Also why does Montezuma look like a grumpy old guy?
It's cool how he kinda moves his head like a bird imo
I'm certainly not pre-ordering, since I know to wait until things are fixed, but I have a feeling I'll still be playing this game more than 3 months after release. And if not? The Civs becoming free 3 months later would probably re-ignite my interest and pull me back in. (Just... One... More... Turn...) Interesting how Aztecs get stronger militaries from luxury resources. I imagine Aztec players might be harder to deal with when it comes to trading, if they want to trade with you at all...
Also why does Montezuma look like a grumpy old guy?
He was over 40 years old when he took to the throne, and was pushing 60 by the time he started doing some major conquests. I'd say it's fair enough to show him later in his life.
This is a completely different game - I am looking forward to learning some of the new features.
Yeah I ain't preordering either, this game might live up to Civ 5, but after the shitshow that was Beyond Earth, I really can't trust if it'll be all that great right off the bat to WANT to preorder it. I mean from what i've seen it looks good but so did beyond Earth, once I hear some reviews from the people I trust, then I'll purchase it.
Looks like good fun and i honestly don't mind the 90 day wait for other civ's, because i'm not gonna buy it at launch anyway.
