Beyond any doubt, what made Qatar famous can be summarized in just two words: AL JAZEERA. It is the most influential TV network in the Arab World and one of the most important news networks on the entire planet.
Then you might wonder… isn’t Al Jazeera just a state propaganda channel? I mean to what extent should we really trust their information? What’s their ideology? Well, today in VisualPolitik we are going to answer all these questions!
There are three types of biased news.
One that distorts the truth: Constantly pedaling a news story, manipulating news stories, manipulative word choice, withholding critical information in a news story to paint a picture. Their bias is based on the stories that they cover.
One that avoids the truth: Avoiding writing news stories, having low coverage of a topic. Their bias is based on the stories that they DO NOT cover.
And of course, one that does both.
Al Jazeera is a the second one when it comes to anything negative about Qatar but even then they occasionally criticize Qatar like the guy mentioned, however it does not hurt to watch Al Jazeera since what they show is factual, however you might want to get your news about Qatar from somewhere else.
Al Jazeera is just like Rede Globo is in Brazil, always sided with the team who's winning (or paying)
I thought it was common sense to never get your news on Thing™ by reading about it on Thing™.

It's the same with RT. Completely trustworthy unless it involves Russia and Russian interests.

Depends on the country. I usually get british news from the BBC.
So this guy is gonna skip over the fact that Al Gore bought Al Jazeera America and in 3 years shut down?
Also him saying "Al Jazeera has become the network that talks about countries that don't appear on American TV News" rubbed me the wrong way, since there's still a few american news networks for that, you have Bloomberg and CNN International which do a good job at covering international stories, especially breaking news out of them. At times the main CNN channel will even switch over to CNN International just to get better coverage of a developing story.
what color is this man's facial hair i can't figure it out even after watching the whole video

RT tends to be rather slanted regarding anything Europe.
It might be less of an issue regarding news about Canada, but as far as ROFLBURGER's categories go it's still often a type one (i.e. active bias).

Sadly the russians have quit significant interests in not only their immediate surroundings in China and Europe at large, but also all the major world powers.
So there's very little to no news that isn't with a significant slant from RT. They're not a reliable nor trustworthy news source and you'd be foolish to think otherwise.
