I love that he actually does a rollover trick with the knife when he pulls it out.
All of this guy's work is amazing and I love how he uploads all the steps up to the final video for each video
There is something incredibly satisfying about the way Spy hopping out of the chair was animated, good animation is just so satisfying to watch, especially after seeing the thing progress one piece at a time.
It feels like the audio should play a couple of frames earlier than it is, but other than that, it's quite fantastic.
EDIT: Tenth of a frame, actually. Some really small amount, just tested it.

Ren and Stimpy had sort of... over the top characters, but not over the top voice acting in a way. So I think I know what you mean. They feel a little flat and slow without the grotesque cartoons to accompany them.
With that said, damn this video was animated brilliantly. Loved the details with the face and the contorting body.
I like to come back to his channel once and a while and see what I can learn from his blocking and rough works.
