i don't think the news report was that bad, we all know there's a lot of weird/fucked up/cancerous videos "disguised" as kid's content. and they didn't completely slam youtube, they actually told how to use the restricted mode and told about youtube kids. rest of the video was on point though
I want whatever remix of the xfiles theme that was.

It's like 'PARENTS SHOCKED: THEY ACTUALLY HAVE TO PARENT THEIR CHILDREN' Like big surprise you can't just leave your kid with the internet to babysit them. Whether it's a bootleg dvd producer, some malware, or the spiderman and frozen elsa videos someone's going to be trying to take advantage of your children's ignorance and your ignorance. You gotta be watching for that shit so your kids don't see some sketchy ass shit. My parents left me alone with the internet, you know where that got me? I'm actually happy with my parents leaving me alone with the internet so I can grow on my own instead of having forced to shun away from other subcultures.

There's plenty of things that are cool on the internet that I would totally show my kid, like Homestar Runner, but there's also a looooooooot of bad shit. Porn, extreme porn, g-rated fetish porn (Spiderman and Frozen Elsa), lots of gore, weird pregnant elsa flash games, some videos masquerading as children's entertainment but are actually disturbing (and I don't just mean today this has been around since I was a kid though when I was a kid it was screamers and dark flash cartoons), malware, and dozens of cringy youtubers. I mean by all means a 12 or a 13 year old, make sure they know internet safety, and take off the training wheels. But a 5 year old? Not so much.

I spent most of the video laughing about that Magneto joke.

I get the feeling he's going to use that tag for every video from now on... [t]http://i.imgur.com/pbWDAT7.png[/t]
