for those who dont want to watch the entire thing it starts at 3:40 and the game is [sp]a 10 player version of bomberman on a highly modified pc engine that was only played at special events and the system was not for consumers[/sp]
So wait was it 720p or 1080p?

720p I believe. 1080p is considered "Full HD".
Honestly I'm more impressed that [sp]it was a 10 player game using five multi-taps and that the console made for it cost 2 million dollars[/sp]. I wonder how important that [sp]console was to later console development, considering it did influence one obscure console?[/sp]
As for Home Consoles, I think the first true HD game was Soul Calibur 2 on Xbox, 4:3 only though.

The only term that is not made up for advertising is HD which is 1920x1080. Anything less could be referred to as sub-HD.

Other Xbox games with 720p support came out before Soul Calibur 2, like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.

And only the NTSC versions of the PS2 and original XBOX suported 720/1080.
