Now the only thing is how will they put this in while the clock is still running when your sim goes to work?
There's another gameplay trailer:
"Your sim can use various techniques to break a suspect. Like waterboarding."
I wonder if you can send wrong people to jail.
So I can finally have my sim walk down the street and give out tickets to everyone for no reason?
I will arrest all my cop co-workers so they can't stop me from being the beacon of justice I was meant to be.

That's awesome. One thing I always found annoying about Sims games was that the work part was always just taking your sim into a building and watching a bar fill up. Only, why the hell do all the detective sims wear shoulder holster straps with nothing actually attached to them?
this + gun mods i can see it already :v:

I hope they add the secret agent career to this so I can make the cast of Archer
Open For Business 2 here I come! In case people are confused. PC Gamer has this.
Because nothing says "game" quite like "work," Get to Work will give your Sims the opportunity to embark upon exciting careers as doctors, scientists, and detectives, or to go into business for themselves with bakeries, clothing stories, art galleries, bookstores, and more. The expansion will provide your Sims with new skills, enabling the creation of new, unique in-game items that you can use to decorate your home, or sell to your fellow Sims.
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-sims-4-get-to-work-expansion-turns-your-sims-into-doctors-and-detectives/
Now if they patch the family tree back in then I have no excuses not to play the game
Now if they patch the family tree back in then I have no excuses not to play the game
They already did :D
If there is a crime career I'd be tempted to get Sims 4 and play it. I fondly remember my insane crime lord that dressed like a gay cowboy in the sims 3.
Seems we'll be getting a new world, expanded worlds, or a new career-centered sub-world. [t]http://i.imgur.com/KYAuNQ8.jpg[/t] That's clearly a new location.
They already did :D
They did?... Oh god your right! Yay!
This expansion looks like it has more content then the base game tbh [editline]24th February 2015[/editline]
They already did :D
Did they fix how story progression works? [t]http://i.imgur.com/KYAuNQ8.jpg[/t] .
That's why, despite not liking the new worlds system, I understood why they wen't in that direction. They can add in as much shit as they want. I can easily move from location to location with ease.
First thing I thought upon reading the thread name is that the DLC was for making the game itself work. Not that far-fetched considering how well SimCity was running.
surprised this wasnt done before

I am going to wait and see until they have modded vicodin pills and a .44 magnum i can carry to get that. I mean how else i am going to role play as house or sledgehammer? Hopefully this expansion doesn't cost like 49.99 or something.

Can you design the workplace though? I wanna make a hospital, or research center, and then have it populated.
At least this is something new. I kind of like The Sims, but I need some kind of complete edition before I consider getting it. Hundreds of dollars worth of DLC just feels like a giant scam, especially when the content is basically something they had in the previous game, then left out in the new game so they can sell it again as DLC.
