So I assume he's in Batman?
I would hope so, Deathstroke is an underused character.
Especially in live action stuff.

The character had a whole season on Archer (**Arrow*** slip up) as the main villain and was arguably the best part of that? That's quite alot in terms of live-action comic shows.
Not to mention his appearances in the Batman games or Teen Titan.
ben affleck directing a batman movie. probably the only thing worth of the DCEU (besides wonder woman)
deathstroke looks amazing

That's only one season of one show. How is that 'quite a lot'?
Confirmed for main villain in Batman

Did I miss something here or is there another show called Archer

Think he meant Arrow.

Slade is actually in the first few seasons of Arrow quite a bit, it's only in the second season that he's featured as the main villain of that season. For much of his time in the series he's actually shown as Oliver's friend in flashbacks.

23+ episodes with 45 minute runtimes is quite alot for a character that is side-villain status in the Batman universe.
Easily more backstory of Slade explored than what a hour and half movie would do.
hype
the suit looks pretty similar to the deathstroke suit in arkham origins
I just want to see him fucking shit up the same way Batman was in BvS.

I need more of this in my life.

Aside from Arrow and the Arkham series, he was "Slade" due to censorship and was arguably a different character as a result. (Yes I'm aware his name is actually Slade Wilson).
Why is Ben Affleck intentionally leaking this
please don't suck

please don't su- ah Zack Snyder too late
Zack has nothing to do with this film. Ben's writing and directing it.
And Ben is seriously talented and he's like a child when it comes to Batman, he's like the biggest fan you can meet. Film will be good.

To get people excited and interested
Yes yes yes yes FUCK YES.
Why is Ben Affleck intentionally leaking this
because it's a teaser and he's the director, he can do whatever he wants.
Why is Ben Affleck intentionally leaking this
I guess he actually might be confident in its quality, which is a far cry from what other directors feel about their movie.
Looks like a Mortal Kombat character to me. STill cool.

So you want to see Batman not be Batman and kill tons of people?
So you want to see Batman not be Batman and kill tons of people?
Batman in his earlier comics killed some thugs ya know.
So you want to see Batman not be Batman and kill tons of people?
Despite the fact that Batman kills at least five people in this scene (and about 30 in the movie), it looked great. It's like an Arkham game put to screen. If that's the direction they will take with action scenes, then yeah, bring it on.

I hadn't actually seen the movie, but fuck me if that wasn't a great action scene. That's what Batman should be like. Aside from killing four dudes with a chaingun and blowing another up, that was sweet and very Batman.
Batmans not going to save a guy with a grenade. I don't get why anyones upset about that death. He's let people die before, there's a difference between killing a person and letting them die.
And other than just chain gunning down a line of SUV's, he didn't do anything else very UnBatman-like until he basically kills Martha's captor.
It's still very Batman and still a brilliantly filmed scene
Batman in his earlier comics killed some thugs ya know.
Until, you know, they changed him to have the no kill rule which he has used for 40+ years.

So, ignoring the dead people, you can't/won't/wouldn't, want to see action that looks as good as that and as Batman-esque as that?
You're entitled to your opinion, but that's all it is.
So you want to see Batman not be Batman and kill tons of people?
Batman in BVS operates on Comic Book logic where even the average human being can literally get flung into a wall and have their ribcage cave in and still survive because the hero isn't supposed to kill.
It doesn't excuse some shit like him literally making a man explode but Batman breaking people in half is really common and generally accepted as suspension of disbelief.
This makes me wonder. Since Deathstroke is usually portrayed as an Assassin/Mercenary, chances are whatever he's doing in the movie is being done on someone else's dime, which would make him just one antagonist in the movie. So the question is: Who's paying him? Who's the real antagonist of the movie?
This is actually getting me a little interested. And as someone who hasn't cared for this cinematic universe, that's kind of a good sign, I think.
