Thanks, I'm having a dumb.
Our golden did a mini version of this after we got back from two weeks in Alaska. Our black lab wasn't as vocal as she was though, but clearly floored.
Warms my heart and makes me smile.
i love doge

Cats are so boring. They may be cute, but they're so boring and bland compared to a dog.

But it'd be your dog, you shouldn't be scared of it
I respect cats for the reason that they aren't so much focused on their owner.
Even though that isn't the case with my very old cat, always waits for me.
I have a puppy, little over a year old, that gets like this (not quite as emotional, though) after six hours. :v:

I love how cats don't give a fuck.

My puppy must think i die or at least leave her forever when I leave the house for 10+ minutes
my dog tends to piss on the floor when she gets really excited when someone comes back :v:

My Corgi who just turned 1 does this too. Silly puppies.

My parents had a poodle that would do that whenever my dad would come home, but i think it was mostly out of fear of my father.
He's an intimidating man.
i love you too
That made me laugh more than it should have.
My dog does this every time I leave the house for a period longer than 5 minutes.

I assume most dogs are nice to humans and don't attack them for no reason, so really the only reason you should be afraid is if it makes sense for the dog to be angry at you, or if the dog is a sociopath.
No wonder, 6 months without food, I'd start eating my dad too.
now that's sweet
my cat was always very attached to us, me in particular.
whenever we'd come home she often came to the door to greet us
cats may not be as enthusiastic as dogs but, one shouldn't assume they can't be excited!

i live away from my dad but whenever i go up there, the cats love up on me
but dogs are better they show all emotion
My dog does this whenever I come home from an 10 hour shift.
My dog is not the brightest dog.
Cute video but am I the only one who thinks referring to a dog's owner as it's daddy is really obnoxious?

kinda common
I remember when I left for a weekend and came back, my dog got so desperate that he had to sleep in my room with me for 2 days to calm down.
I came home to my cat after a three week vacation with my girlfriend, she was laying on the back porch dozing off, kinda just how I left her.
Only after I started petting her she kinda recognized me and just stood there, stared at me, and started meowing for like 5 minutes
I took this as a "where the FUCK have you been, dude?"
