So this is where Valve got their idea for one of the Left 4 Dead 2 maps.
Pripyat: 2010
I kinda wanted to see the place with less graffiti, but other than that, it looks awesome
Creepy as hell.
First thought that came to mind, Chernobyl.
whoah, creepy. Why was it never reopened?
"Six Flags Inc. announced that they had concluded their damage assessments and declared the park to be an "effective total loss"—with no desire or intent by the company to undertake the prohibitive cost of rebuilding"
Welcome to Zombie Land kids!
Oh boy.
Woah I'd love to go there
How the fuck can you forget about reopening a theme park?
Looks like a mild Chernobyl effect.
Very much less though. As nothing will beat Chernobyl.
that is a fucking creepy face at 1:45
I had to show my friend who is now living in New Orleans.
why hello there dark carnival.
also, this is really sad to me, as i visited that place a year before katrina hit. it was so nice, and now it's all ruined :(
Awesome UrBeX spot. Also, perfect zombie setting.
[editline]4th November 2010[/editline]
Also, a fucking hospital?!
I live next to Upper Clements theme park. My stepdad used to work there, so we stayed there after dark one night and just walked the place. Surprisingly freaky, but it's something I'll never forget.
oh damn, that's closed? I hadn't been there in forever. it was really fun when it was open

Some of the graffiti actually adds to the creepy factor.
Like the bit that had

written on the wall.
Oh Godspeed, you so awesome.
I wonder how much the property costs. I wouldn't mind owning a private amusement park.
STALKER has poisoned my mind, kept looking for bloodsuckers.

Oh shit, don't start that with me.
The water park would've been fine.
